Lola Osborne
Lola Osborne has worked for the City of Pasadena in various Planning and Development Department divisions for 22 years. Lola began her career in the northwest area of Pasadena and was pleased to return to the area as the manager of the northwest division. The position provides her with the opportunity to serve the community in a number of ways to economically and socially benefit northwest Pasadena.
The program Lola is most proud of is the youth program of her division, comprised of the Ambassador Program and Mentoring and Partnership Development's "Lunch with the Future" program at John Muir High School. Both programs provide high school students with opportunities to maximize their capabilities and create change in themselves and their environments. She encourages youths to become active in the policy making processes within their communities.
In addition to serving on the board of MPYD, Lola is a board member of Mustangs on the Move. She was previously on the board of Ward AME Church youth ushers, but remains active with other youth programs through her church.
