Lunch with the Future

Mr. Mark Greenfield spoke to our young men about the power of pursuing one’s passions—especially in a world that doesn’t always value them. He explained how art invites us to reflect on our experiences and see them in a new light. He also shared some of his own works and mentioned that he currently has an installation at the California African American Museum titled Ode to Dena, inspired by the Eaton Fires.

Dr. Robles also spent time with our young men, sharing his upbringing in Pasadena and the journey that led him to becoming Assistant Principal. He spoke about his past involvement in mixed martial arts, even showing one of his fights, and took time to answer their questions with honesty and enthusiasm.
