Managing Director
Myles Santifer
Myles Santifer, a native of Inglewood, California, pursued African American Studies at UC Berkeley, where he discovered his passion for mentorship and leadership. He chaired the BSU and served as Vice President at Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Alpha Epsilon Chapter, advocating for academic excellence. At Berkeley, he played a pivotal role as the theme program advisor for African American Themed Housing, fostering inclusive living spaces. Transitioning to Parsons School of Design, he earned a Master of Fine Arts, delving into the intersection of African American Art Practice, identity, and community. Additionally, Myles collaborates with industry leaders like Serato and Tec Leimert, contributing his expertise in directing, consulting, and serving as a brand ambassador, promoting innovation and inclusivity. Committed to social justice and cultural empowerment, Myles embodies academic rigor, community engagement, and creative exploration.
Program Coordinator
Ethan Fleming
Ethan is a John Muir and MPYD alumni. He graduated from John Muir High School in 2020 and went on to further his education at Grand Canyon University, where he is studying Business Administration. Mr. Fleming oversees the juniors and senior at MPYD, in which he counsels and encourages them to always do their best in life. His goal with MPYD is to help these young men become the best version s of themselves and help them reach their goals.
Program Coordinator
James Griffin
James is a John Muir and MPYD alumni. He graduated from John Muir High School in 2022. He went on to further his education at PCC, where he is studying Culinary Arts. James Griffin oversees the sophomores at MPYD, in which he counsels and encourage them that they can always overcome any obstacles no matter how hard school or life gets. His goal with MPYD is to let the young men in this program know that we all want them to be there best version of themselves and that MPYD will be there to support them along with there journey through life.
