Greetings, Friends and Family! ️This week, one of our graduating seniors served as our guest speaker as part of their exit ticket from the MPYD program: Dallas Hawkins. 🎓👏🏾💙
Dallas spoke about the importance of balancing extracurricular activities while still prioritizing academics so he could stay focused and avoid burnout 📚. As class president, he encouraged our young men to challenge themselves early in high school to make the most of every opportunity. He shared that putting himself out there opened doors he never expected — including discovering his passion for playing the violin because he joined the orchestra. Dallas also credited his mom for constantly pushing him to be the best he can be, and he said his faith in God has helped him stay on the right path as he works toward becoming the greatest version of himself.
