Greetings, Friends and Family! ️
This week, one of our graduating seniors served as our guest speaker as part of their exit ticket from the MPYD program: Kahlil Rishwain. 🎓👏🏾💙
Kahlil talked about his plans after high school and stressed the importance of not procrastinating and taking full advantage of every opportunity high school offers, because that kind of exposure is hard to find later. He shared how he tried different sports before finally discovering his true passion for baseball, a journey that taught him the value of exploring until something clicks. Kahlil also spoke about maintaining a healthy work‑life balance by giving himself breaks to avoid burnout, a habit he plans to carry forward. Through it all, he said his relationship with God has guided and strengthened him throughout his four years of high school. ✨
