MPYD Welcomes: Judge Michael Carter

Judge Michael Carter spoke about his path to becoming a judge and explained the rigorous selection process. While it often takes candidates years to be appointed, Judge Carter shared that his appointment came in just six months ⏱️. He also discussed his experience as a prosecutor before becoming a judge and highlighted the importance of mentorship programs like Big Brothers Big Sisters 🤝, comparing them to MPYD and commending their impact. Judge Carter closed by reminding our young men that he would much rather see them thriving in programs like MPYD than standing before him in court.
